One Year Ago...

My mom made a phone call that made all the difference... She was calling this lovely lady.
We were fresh off getting my dad's diagnosis, my brother setup a meeting with Chris from the local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. We found out about a support group run by Gretchen. Through her support group for people with Frontal Temporal Dementia we have learned and incredible amount and made connections to amazing people. My mom was so scared and lost at the time; her world was unraveling at the seems. Since then she has grown and managed to pull it together.
I'm proud of you mom.
