One of the best benefits my employer offers is a sabbatical. Every 7 years we get rewarded with 8 weeks of paid vacation on top of our normal vacation.
I am now officially on my sabbatical. Waking up on Friday morning brought back memories of being a kid knowing that you were going to your last day of school before the summer vacation.
I have several things I want to do with my time off and at the same time I want to keep it wide open to do just do whatever strikes my fancy on a particular day.
I'm not sure what I will do today, but I do intend to keep everyone posted (and hopefully invoke some envy :-P ) by updating my blog over the coming days.
